- These cells are located in various tissues in the body and can only differentiate into specific types of cells. For example, hematopoietic stem cells in bone marrow can differentiate into various blood cells, but cannot generate cells from other tissue types.
- These cells are found in various tissues and organs of the body such as bone marrow, skin, and brain.

1. Nucleus: The nucleus is the center of the stem cell and contains its genetic material, or DNA.2. Cytoplasm: The cytoplasm is the fluid filling the cell, which contains organelles and other cellular components.3. 4.Stem cells also have specific surface markers on their cell membranes that allow them to be identified and sorted based on their characteristics, such as CD34 for hematopoietic stem cells.
